Tribu K’ Mindanawan

After a quick walk around the Davao Crocodile Park, we went straight to Tribu K’ Mindanawan to catch the cultural show. It’s just a few meters away from the crocodile park. The presentation shows different tribal music and dances. It is indeed a true Filipino cultural show then the highlight of the show, the fire dancing part. The fire dancers were really amazing. They used different stuffs like hula hoop and skipping rope in their dance and not just the ordinary poi we usually seen in beach parties. It was also the most exciting and challenging part to shoot that night. I used slower shutter speed to capture the motion of the flame. I really enjoyed the show even if I am not so good place to shoot. When you visit Tribu K’ Mindanawan, just make sure to visit it on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays since these are only the days they had this cultural show. It will start at 5:45 pm and ends to 6:30 pm. This is another best that Davao can offer.

Here's the last few seconds of the amazing fire dance at Tribu K' Mindanawan:
